The infrastructure that runs — without making it your job
Your IT rests on an invisible but critical layer: the network, servers, firewall, telephony. When everything works, no one thinks about it. When it goes down, everything stops.
koIT is Ekioo’s infrastructure managed services offering. It covers the administration, monitoring and maintenance of all your physical and logical equipment — with clear service commitments, without you having to hire a full-time infrastructure engineer.
What koIT covers
Wired and Wi-Fi networking
A poorly configured network is an open door and a productivity bottleneck. koIT manages your entire network infrastructure:
- Configuration and update of managed switches (VLAN, QoS, redundancy)
- Deployment and management of Wi-Fi access points (coverage, roaming, WPA3 security)
- Network segmentation: separation of business, guest, IoT and admin traffic
- Real-time monitoring: alerts on failing or degraded equipment
- Up-to-date network documentation
Perimeter security
Security is not a one-off project — it is a continuous vigilance. koIT protects you at the network perimeter:
- Next-generation firewall: filtering rules, traffic policies, zone segmentation
- Filtering proxy: web access control, logging, malicious content filtering
- IPS/IDS: real-time intrusion detection and prevention
- Site-to-site and remote VPN: secure access for your mobile teams
- Periodic security policy review and signature updates
Servers and storage
Your servers are the heart of your information system. koIT keeps them operational:
- Administration of physical servers running Linux with Docker — the stable, controlled foundation of our current offering
- Synology and QNAP NAS management: configuration, volumes, access rights, backups and alerts
- Kooperation deployment on NAS appliances for fully on-premise hosting, with no cloud dependency
- Regularly tested backup and restore plan (3-2-1 rule)
- Resource monitoring: CPU, RAM, disks, temperatures — proactive alerts
- OS updates and security patch management
IP telephony
Orange has announced the shutdown of the copper network (PSTN/ISDN). For businesses still connected over copper, the migration to VoIP is no longer optional — it is urgent. koIT handles that migration and then manages your telephony on an ongoing basis.
We offer two managed IPBX solutions, developed by French vendors on open-source foundations — eliminating operator lock-in and treating telephony as a commodity, just like Internet access:
- Tealk IPBX (Teambox) — IPBX on Asterisk, enriched with French-developed features, deployed on your infrastructure
- W3TEL IP Centrex — fixed-mobile convergence: a single number rings both a desk phone and a mobile simultaneously, and can be dialled from either
In both cases:
- Configuration of IP phones, softphones and mobile apps
- DDI management, call groups and queues
- Voicemail and call recording (GDPR compliance included)
- Number portability: no number change during migration
Internet access and connectivity
Your Internet access is the backbone of your business. koIT ensures its performance and resilience:
- Router and operator gateway configuration
- Redundancy: two active Internet links with automatic failover
- QoS: priority for critical flows (video conferencing, VoIP, ERP)
- Bandwidth monitoring and anomaly detection
- Guidance on operator contract selection and negotiation
What we guarantee you
| Commitment | koIT |
|---|---|
| Monitoring | 24/7 — proactive alerts before user impact |
| Response time | As per contractual SLA (4h, NBD or critical) |
| Updates | Scheduled outside business hours, tested before deployment |
| Documentation | Network map and inventory kept current at all times |
| Reversibility | All documentation belongs to you — no lock-in |
Technologies and partners
koIT relies on proven technologies and sovereign vendors:
- OPNsense / pfSense — firewall and routing
- Tealk / Teambox — managed IPBX on Asterisk, French vendor
- W3TEL — IP Centrex with fixed-mobile convergence, French vendor
- Synology, QNAP — professional NAS and storage
- Linux + Docker — physical server administration (k0s/k3s and Proxmox on roadmap)
- Zabbix / Grafana — monitoring and dashboards
Network equipment (switches, Wi-Fi access points) is selected from standard professional brands based on your context and requirements.
Who is it for?
koIT is aimed at organisations with infrastructure to manage but without the internal resources to do so rigorously and continuously:
| Profile | Primary need |
|---|---|
| SMB without in-house IT | Delegate complete infrastructure administration |
| Mid-size company with lean IT | Strengthen network and security skills without recruiting |
| Multi-site organisations | Single point of contact for all sites, centralised monitoring |
| Industry & retail | Robust on-site infrastructure: warehouse Wi-Fi, point-of-sale telephony |
koIT and the ko- suite
koIT can host ko- suite products on-premise, but this combination is not required — every product can also be deployed in the cloud or on infrastructure not managed by Ekioo:
- Kooperation can be deployed directly on your koIT-managed servers or Synology/QNAP NAS — for fully on-premise hosting with no cloud dependency
- Kommercial, Kogestion, Konnaissance and Koprojet can likewise be hosted on your local infrastructure via koIT, or continue running independently in the cloud
- Kollaborateur (refurbished workstations) integrates into the network and directory managed by koIT
- Kodir can draw on the network map and inventory produced by koIT to feed the CIO dashboard
