70%
CO₂ emissions saved per refurbished workstation Compared to purchasing an equivalent new device — measured across the full lifecycle and certified by our ITAD partners.

Seven concrete commitments, not promises

Open source by default, proprietary when justified

Our evaluation framework always starts with free and open-source solutions. We only recommend a proprietary solution when functional, security or integration criteria objectively justify it — and we document why every time. This stance frees us from all conflicts of interest linked to resale commissions.

Real digital sovereignty

We don't simply host 'in France' as a commercial argument. We verify the subcontracting chain of our hosting providers, enforce contractual clauses on data localisation, propose on-premise architectures where sovereignty demands it, and exclude by default services subject to the US Cloud Act.

Refurbished hardware and circular economy

Kollaborateur, our hardware offering, is built on certified refurbished equipment. We work with French partners compliant with ITAD standards, providing full traceability certificates.

Full independence from software vendors

Ekioo receives no resale commissions on any solutions it deploys. We exclusively invoice our advisory and implementation services. As a result, our recommendations are driven by your interest, not our margins. We can also help you renegotiate your existing vendor contracts — without any conflict of interest.

Measurable digital ESG

We go beyond good intentions. Our deliverables include a digital carbon assessment (scope 3 included), ESG indicators ready for GRI and CSRD reporting, an IT energy consumption monitoring dashboard, and recommendations prioritised by impact and feasibility.

An integrated sovereign product suite

Unlike generalist IT firms, Ekioo offers its own ko- suite: Kooperation (collaborative office suite), Koprojet (project management), Konnaissance (knowledge base), Kommercial (CRM), Kogestion (lightweight ERP) — all open source, hosted in Europe, adoptable progressively, with no obligation.

Knowledge transfer is included

We systematically train your teams on the tools and practices we deploy. The goal is for you to operate autonomously — or at least reduce your dependency on Ekioo. This is a rare stance in the industry, and it is a contractual commitment.

What we are not

  • A Microsoft/Google integrator chasing licence volumes
  • A low-cost hosting provider dressed up as strategic consultancy
  • An IT staffing firm whose goal is to maximise mission duration
  • A startup pivoting based on its latest funding round

Ekioo is a purpose-driven company, built to last and to sustain its clients' digital independence. Because independance is key to better costs, performance and continuity.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Ekioo take no commission on the solutions it deploys?
We have made a deliberate choice to earn no resale margin on licences or solutions we recommend. An advisor remunerated through resale cannot be fully objective. Our only source of revenue is billing for our time and expertise. This guarantees that our recommendations are driven solely by your interests.
How does your knowledge transfer commitment work?
Every engagement includes a training and documentation component designed to make your teams autonomous on the tools and practices we deploy. We do not create dependency on Ekioo: if you can operate independently tomorrow, that is a success. This commitment is contractual — training deliverables are defined up front and verified at mission end.
Is refurbished hardware as reliable as new equipment?
The hardware we deploy is certified by French ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) partners meeting professional refurbishment standards. Every device is tested, cleaned, restored, and delivered with an equivalent warranty. In terms of reliability, professional refurbishment produces results comparable to new equipment, with 70% fewer CO₂ emissions across the lifecycle.
What distinguishes the ko- suite from Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?
The ko- suite is 100% open source, hosted in France or Europe, with no data transfer outside the EU and no dependency on a US vendor subject to the Cloud Act. It covers collaboration, project management, knowledge management, CRM, and operational management. It does not aim to match Microsoft 365 feature-for-feature, but offers a robust sovereign alternative for organisations that make data control a priority.
