The origin: three companies, one common conviction
Ekioo was not created from scratch. It is the result of a gradual coming together of three organisations that, over time, realised they shared far more than common clients — a shared vision of what IT should be.
In 2026, Koevoo, Kinsa Consulting and Koonex decided to merge to form Ekioo — a single, stronger and more coherent entity capable of addressing the full range of IT challenges facing modern organisations.
Koevoo: everyday, responsible IT
Koevoo specialised in operational and eco-responsible IT: open-source deployment, low-footprint hosting, refurbished hardware, and technical team support. Koevoo had also built recognised expertise in training and awareness around responsible digital practices.
Its philosophy: make IT practical, robust and environmentally friendly — without compromising on performance.
Kinsa Consulting: governance and strategy
Kinsa Consulting operated at the strategic and organisational level of information systems: IT governance, business alignment, budget oversight, risk management and regulatory compliance (GDPR, NIS2, etc.).
Its value: translating technology challenges into management decisions that executives can understand and act on.
Koonex: sovereignty and open alternatives
Koonex established itself as a reference player in deploying sovereign alternative solutions: email, collaboration, storage and document management outside the major proprietary cloud platforms. Koonex guided IT departments through their transition to more independent architectures.
Its speciality: building digital infrastructures where organisations remain in control of their data.
The merger: why Ekioo?
The decision to merge emerged naturally from a shared observation: organisations need a comprehensive IT partner capable of addressing strategy, operations, security and the transition to more responsible IT all at once.
The three founders chose to build Ekioo around a name that embodies this collective project — “eki” for balance and team, “oo” like the infinite loop of continuous improvement.
